GC’s Famous TikToker Audrey Lamb
Graves County Junior Audrey Lamb is quite well-known on TikTok with 234.5K followers on TikTok and 2.7 million likes.
While balancing cross country and being a co-ed cheerleader, she states, “TikTok fame has not affected my daily life but, I guess you could say it made me want to make more videos based off the positive environment from my supporters.”
Audrey is also a dancer and has been since she was 5 years old: “I don’t know why exactly why I was lucky enough to get some TikTok clout, but I’ve been told I am a good dancer and that has something to do with my page because most of my videos are of me dancing.”
Gaining followers is a struggle for most people, but Audrey hasn’t had any trouble gaining a couple thousand followers. “I first gained followers last year on my old account and I had around 66k. Then that account got hacked, so I had to start all over again. After that, I gained 90k in January then around April a few months later my videos blew up and I gained 140k followers in a month and I’ve kept the same amount of followers since then.”
Dowdy’s approach to her videos is simple: “I see dance videos on my “For You” page or see videos that are trending, and if I like the video I’ll try and recreate them.”
“It takes around 30 minutes to make a video that I like,” continued Dowdy, “and I recreate the same video multiple times to see which one I like best.”
