The Grammy’s this year brought many surprises to viewers all over America; as a result, many fans were left shocked, annoyed, disappointed.

Despite the irritation of numerous fans, there were plenty left excited by the results. One person in particular had a lot to be excited about: Billie Eilish.

Billie Eilish O’Connell gained her fame at the mere age of fourteen years old upon the release of her single “Ocean Eyes”. Since then, she has continued to impress the world and defy odds, growing to have 52.1 million Instagram followers, and 20 million streams and more than 16,000 downloads of her most recent single less than a week after it was released.

However, neither of these successes for Eilish are her biggest accomplishment. On January 26, 2020, she took home all four of the major Grammys: Song of the Year, Record of the Year, Album of the Year, and Best New Artist. She is only the second artist ever to sweep all of the big four in one night, and the first ever woman.

In addition to these four, she also won Best Pop Vocal Album. Although many consider some of these awards to fall under the “Grammys snubs” category, we can all agree the whole night was a win for Eilish.
