Students have started using Juul’s as a nicotine substance. Juuling is a new term for vaping and it is concerning.

These vaporized e-cigarettes are intended to help adults quit smoking, but teens are quickly getting their hands on them. They are harmful because one Juul pod contains 20 cigarettes worth of nicotine, and there are so many awful side effects like: Dry mouth, dizziness, coughing, dry skin, itchiness, dry eyes, and so much more.

Medical professionals are  concerned because Juul delivers a higher concentration of nicotine than other e-cigarettes. Maciej Goniewicz, the leading e-cigarette researcher at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center stated, “We already have sufficient evidence from hundreds of studies that link exposure to those chemicals with disease outcomes.” You can read all about their research on Vox.com.

Here are some helpful tips to be Juul free: Avoid “hitting” one at all, so you’ll never crave it; create a support group; research health risks;  pinpoint triggers that create cravings; and replace Juuling with other activities that you enjoy.
