Graves County Eagles were defeated on Sept 21 by Logan County with the last kept score of 14-17.

In the first game, Olivia Cooper was spiker, with Ellie Youngblood and Avery Thompson following suit with their teamwork. The game ended with Conlee Spann scoring for Graves with her set.

During the second game, all girls work together to score a point, eliciting screams from the sidelines. Olivia Cooper’s spike gave another point, followed by another spike and point by Ellie Youngblood.

Despite the loss, positivity ensued.

“The girls and I really felt the energy, everyone was very excited,”said Coach Bret Cariveau.
