Graves County Varsity Football hosted Paducah Tilghman at their second home game on September 13th, 2019.

Graves scored their first touchdown in the 1st quarter, starting the game in the lead. During that same quarter, both teams were tied 6-6 for a hot minute, until Paducah Tilghman took the lead with 6-7.

During halftime, the Screamin’ Eagle Band and Color Guard performed three songs on the field. Last time, they only performed two of the songs. This time, they added a new song at the end of the halftime show: Megan Trainer’s “No.”

At the end of the 4th quarter buzzer, the tornadoes led the eagles with 13-34.

Despite the loss, the eagles remain positive and grateful for their team.

Graves County sophomore, Mason Grant, says, “I like being on the field with my teammates.”

Graves County junior, Alex Gardner, said, “Football helps me stay strong and I get along with my teammates.”

Graves County junior, Lucas Medley, said, “I love going out on the field because it gives me experience with my family.”

There’s always more games to win, and every day is always a #GDTBAE.
