Mrs. MaKayla Thomas is a Foods and Nutrition teacher at GCHS, but this summer she decided to try something new: HIIT & FIT, a “holy grail guide to health!”
Mrs.Thomas, 25, is a wife and a mom of (soon to be) 2 kids. She enjoys cooking, working out, and doing anything outside.
“Working out was already something I was doing daily anyway, and people (women) would often reach out to me for fitness advice, workouts, and meal ideas,” said Thomas. “I had actually considered it for years, and finally decided to go for it this summer while I had some free time!”
The workout plan is versatile, making it a great investment for anyone interested in improving their overall appearance or health.
“Whether you’re a mom, have a full time job, older, younger, pregnant, male, or female, veteran gym-goer, or newbie…I’ve had people of all kinds purchase the plan and have success with it. Anyone who is willing to put in the work will be able to see results!”
Mrs. Thomas considers her plan a success, as it helps to empower hundreds of local women.
“You miss 100% of the opportunities you don’t take,” Thomas encouraged, “If you want to make a change, you have to step out of your comfort zone and try.”
