On April 14th, the first episode of Game of Thrones Season 8 premiered. Many of us have been waiting years for this episode to come out and these fans have gotten just what they asked for.

As the Dothraki, Unsullied, Second Sons, Iron Born, and the Dragons all march along the king’s road towards Winterfell, many people from the north are very suspicious of all of these outsiders coming to their homes and living with them until the Great War comes.

But side by side Daenerys and Jon Snow ride into Winterfell with their dragons overhead. This was a very intense episode, which was the perfect way to start off this new season.

With Jon coming to the realization that he really isn’t a Snow and that he is truly a Targaryan this was a very intense moment because we know that in the previous season Jon Snow and Daenerys Targaryen were hot and heavy towards each other on their way to confront Circe with their new discoveries.

With this new discovery, the iron throne is up for grabs again with Jon Snow being a true Targaryen then that means that he is the rightful king of the seven kingdoms. But everyone is worried that Queen Daneryes will not give up her right to the throne that easily.

At the end of this episode, some riders arrive at Winterfell who were at the wall when it was demolished by the white walkers dragon. They announce that the white walkers have passed the wall and will be arriving at Winterfell by the morning.

Everyone immediately begins preparing for the first battle of the war yet to come and many do not have hope. But as they hold their loved ones and prepare for the battle, they find their feet in the snow waiting for the morning to come.
