The legendary Alex Trebek, widely known as the host for Jeopardy, has grown from his career of television, and has touched many souls through his years of valued dedication and work.

The world has recently been informed of the devastating news: Alec has been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. His act of care is unsure, probably due to his confidentiality reasoning, but it’s safe to say that the world is routing for his recovering.

In 1961, he began his first job as an employee for CBC and soon became the number one news reporter for this company. Following through with his dreams, he hosted a music program called Music Hop in 1963. Then carrying his experience to a high school quizzical game show called Reach For The Top.

This isn’t even half of what he’s accomplished in his life on TV. The vast amount of broadcasting, television shows, game shows, and many more, he’s set a very well know persona for himself.

He’s been such an inspiration to many and it’d be such a tragedy to lose such a beloved person as himself. From the mouth of the legend, I quote, ” Don’t tell me what you believe in. I’ll observe how you behave and I will make my own determination.”  And from this, we should all let Alex Trebek believe we’re fighting for his fight.
