GCHS FBLA Sweeps Regionals; Throgmorton elected Region 1 President

Monday, March 4th, our Graves County FBLA set out to Murray State University to compete in FBLA Regionals. Graves County came in strong with multiple victories, and our own Sarah Throgmorton was elected Region 1 President.

Senior Pierson Perdue, who placed 3rd in Publication Design, said, “It was a very rewarding experience; being able to compete and represent Graves County is worth while.“

Faith Elder placed 1st in Electronic Career Portfolio; Avery Bradley placed 2nd in Digital video production; Gavin Nolan placed 2nd in Advertising; Kori Redden placed 2nd in Social Media Campaign; Elzy Peters placed 2nd in Journalism; Kennady Dowdy, Emma Purcell, and Hannah Williams placed 2nd in Global Business; Kayli Leonard and Pierson Perdue placed 3rd in Publication Design; Kayli Leonard and Avery McClain placed 3rd in Local Chapter Annual Business Report; Sarah Throgmorton placed 3rd in Job Interview; Evan Williams placed 3rd in Impromptu Speaking; and Abby Seavers placed 3rd in Accounting I.

GCHS FBLA sponsor Stephanie Rickman was pleased with the spring conference and looking forward to  the state competition in April and nationals in San Antonio this summer.
