The 53rd Super Bowl, already famous for cheating the tribute to the late creator of Spongebob out of the halftime show, was a major disaster for the NFL. Along with this, another big controversy that didn’t make the most recent Superbowl likable for a lot of people was the Kaepernick ordeal. A lot of big artists turned down offers to perform at the half time show because of their support of Kaepernick’s famous protest of kneeling during the national anthem.

The game was played between the Los Angeles Rams and the New England Patriots. The entire game was slow and boring, other than the occasional good tackle or sack, the ending score coming to a “whopping” 13-3, the Patriots winning their 6th Superbowl.

Superbowl LIII setting the new record for the lowest scoring super bowl in history, the previous one being Superbowl 7, the ending score was 14-7.
