As the year proceeds, ACT’s are approaching causing many students to be stressed. It is known that this test is a major key to getting into many great colleges. There is no reason to stress, there are a few tips to guide you to success when taking the ACT.

Senior Parker Gerard stresses, “It is very important and helpful to use a calculator on the math portion, even when it seems simple.

Many students don’t want to take extra time outside of school to take this test, so a large number of students usually wait for the free ACT their school provides them. However, for better chances of making exceptional scores, taking the ACT more than one time is a good idea.

Gerard adds, “I recommend taking the ACT as many times as possible until you are truly happy with your score.”

Not only does taking the ACT multiple times help increase your score, but it helps you feel more comfortable when taking the test. The isolation and run-down of the test becomes less stressful after taking it many times.

“You get used to the format which causes you to have less anxiety when taking the ACT,” Gerard says.
