It´s Tradition
On October 31 of every year, there is a tradition in the United States where a holiday called ¨ Halloween¨ is celebrated. It´s a day where lots of people dress up in costumes of all sort and go door to door around the county and some even further to get free candy. It´s a night full of fun to get plenty of candy and also able to play dress up at the same time. There is plenty of houses though that make a type of a mini haunted house and make it all scary looking. I asked students what they were going to do and what they were looking forward to that night.
Jaelynn Ross a Junior said ¨ I´m going to dress up like a person from the purge. We are going to go with a group of friends and go around here in Mayfield and maybe Paducah as well. I expect to have lots of candy to bring to school so when I want to snack on something in class.¨
Aoibh Bullard responds by say ¨ I am going as Princess Zelda and my boyfriend will be going as Link. We are going with my family and we are just gonna go here around Mayfield. Afterward, we are just gonna go to my house and watch some scary movies and eat the candy that we get that day. I plan to have a great time that day and get lots of candy. ¨
