Monday night, October 15th, the Lady Eagles soccer team battled it out in their first regional game against McCracken County.

Our girls were optimistic, as Sydney Gream, junior, said, “It’s a pretty even match, gonna be a tough game, but I am confident in our abilities and I think we can pull through with a win!”

All of their optimism and hard work payed off, because the Lady Eagles won 5-2.

Ellie Carter, freshman, showed her talent and made an impressive goal from 50 yards away, and Madeline Byrd scored a hat trick. Because of our win, we are playing Marshall County on Wednesday, October 17th to fight for our spot in State.

Fight on, Lady Eagles.
