Roughly, three weeks ago Hurricane  Florence made its appearance and hit North Caroline. This disaster left hundreds of people without homes.

Neighbors Helping Neighbors is an organization that helps shelter the victims of the storm.  They help in many different ways such as, helping with repairs or modifications to their homes to make it live-able again.

Senior, Grace Rice explains, “I think people going out of their way to help restore all the homes destroyed is a great way to reach out and make a change in the community.”

“The purpose of Neighbors helping Neighbors is to serve as a charitable organization meeting community needs not being met by other organizations in a timely manner that improves the quality of life of residents.” – Neighbors Helping Neighbors official website.
