The grand march: Prom

With prom only a few weeks away, May 5th, so is the Grand March. The grand march is an annual tradition that takes place before dancing starts at prom. It starts an hour before Prom, which gives every prom attendant the opportunity to make an appearance on the runway.

The grand march begins by models lining up in the fine arts hall awaiting
introduction on the Stage in the Performing Arts Center. This allows you to show off not only your date but your stunning attire.

The PAC is opened to all family members which allows them to see all the couples entering prom.

While participating in the grand march, one typically strikes a pose or flashes a smile to have photos taken by the audience.

This isn’t mandatory, but it sure is a fun way to make an entrance to the biggest event of the year.
