The closing ceremony for the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang, South Korea occurred on February 25th, 2018. Again with the Parade of Nations, North and South Korea marched together in unity. The ceremony as a whole showed peace and optimism. There were musical performances from K-pop groups CL and EXO, as well as 13 year old Yang Tae-hwan.

In total, the US won 23 medals, with 9 of them being gold. The gold medalists were Redmond Gerard (Slopestyle Snowboarding), Jamie Anderson (Slopestyle Snowboarding), Chloe Kim (Halfpipe Snowboarding), Shaun White (Halfpipe Snowboarding), Mikaela Shiffrin (Alpine Skiing), Jessie Diggins and Kikkan Randall (Ladies’ Team Sprint Free Cross Country Skiing), David Wise (Freestyle Skiing/Men’s Ski Halfpipe), Women’s Hockey, and Men’s Curling.
