On January 2nd, Graves Varsity Boys defeated McCracken 54-40.

With only a 4 point lead at the half, Jacob Savage, junior, expressed his relief when the Eagles pulled ahead: “We knew they could come up and beat us, but coach told us not to let them, [he told us] to play like we played in the first half. Even though it was a bounce back and forth kind of game we did our best and won.”

He continued on their 14 point win:

“I thought we played pretty good it was a good win for us, it really prepares us for the Mayfield game this Friday”

Graves will play Mayfield at home tonight. Varsity Girls play at 6 followed by Varsity Boys.
