ICP to hold Juggalo March on Washington

On September 16, 2017, horrorcore rap group Insane Clown Posse and their label Psychopathic Records will be conducting the Juggalo March on Washington.

The March will be in protest of the 2011 FBI gang classification labelling ICP fans, known as Juggalos, a “loosely-organized hybrid gang.” ICP filed a lawsuit in 2014 against the FBI, fighting their case that their listeners are just a subculture of fans, much like how heavy metal fans are their own subculture. ICP, however, lost in the lawsuit.

The March will begin at 12:00 at the Lincoln Memorial. The March will take roughly an hour and will end at their starting point. From 1:45-4, Juggalos themselves will read their testimonies on how the gang label has affected their lives.

For example, many were denied entry to the military for their tattoos regarding the Insane Clown Posse, while others lost custody of their children for simply listening to the music, and even people have been harassed on the streets by police for wearing an ICP t-shirt. Celebrities and special guests will also be speaking during this time.

The march will conclude with a two-day concert featuring fan’s favorite Psychopathic artists including Anybody Killa, Blahzay Roze, and Big Hoodoo,  and Insane Clown Posse. Other artists will be performing who are known Juggalo supporters including Vanilla Ice, Kissing Candice, Kung Fu Vampire, and Bukshot.
