Mrs.Mechelle Gattis, who teaches business/management related classes now has the position of teaching travel and tourism.
She is very qualified to teach this class, for she is head of FBLA who takes multiple trips every year and is the head organizer for those trips.
The travel and tourism course introduces students to the industry that is based on the business and marketing core. course plans include hands on projects and a class field trip to see the jobs and operation of a tourism site.

According to Mrs. Gattis, “travel and tourism can be more creative than my business classes are, usually business is more organized.”
