The brightest meteor shower in 96 years is happening THIS Saturday.

On Oct. 12, the meteors will magically light up the sky, and some scientist predict that they may even be seen during the day.

Astronomers suggest that, depending on the Moon’s phase, the best time to watch the show is to view it right before dawn.

A meteor shower is a number of meteors that appear to radiate from one point in the sky at a particular date each year, due to the earths regularly passing through a field of particles at that position in its orbit. Meteor showers are named after the constellation in which the radiant is situated.
