GCHS JROTC leads Veterans’ Day ceremonies around community

img_1674The cadets at Graves County JROTC had quite a busy day on Veteran’s day. The first item on the agenda was the assembly here at the school, where they presented the American flag in a flag folding ceremony. Secondly, they had 3 color guards that day, where they presented the colors at various locations, one of which being Harmon Park, where Cadets Luker, Arant, Looper, Lutz, Newsome and PFC Zachary Heath presented each of the six major flags America has had throughout history. Meanwhile, two separate color guard teams went to two elementary schools, Symsonia and Central, to present the colors at their Veteran’s day assembly. It was a busy day for the program and cadets everywhere, but patriotism was in the air and you could see the look of pride on everyone’s faces.
