Calling all monsters! The Halloween season is right around the corner and Talon Falls Screampark wants you to be a part of it.

Talon Falls will be holding their annual orientation for new and returning actors, game masters, and make up artists. It will be held at Talon Falls on August 28 and will begin at 5 p.m. This will be the beginning of TF’s seventeenth year of operation.

Orientation is a three part event that has stuff for everybody to enjoy. The first half hour consists of going over the rules, how to sign up, and the overall theme for the new season. From 5:45 to 6:45 there will be activities in progress. One of them being Scare School taught by Matthew Bozone (a former TF actor). The Scare School will teach development for your monstrous character and the classic in-and-out scare strategy. The other activity is makeup classes instructed by Leslie Davenport and Shell Ferren, both TF makeup artists. There, you can learn to bring your monster to life.

When both classes come to a close, everybody will come together to get a sneak peak at the new attraction inhabiting the Dead End Haunted House. For those unaware, the 2015 season was the Doll Factory’s last performance and will now be replaced by a new attraction named The Collector.

Anybody interested in helping out this season is encouraged to attend the orientation and experience the behind the scenes action of a haunt.
