During the 2nd week of September, GCHS clubs recruited students to become members. The chaos all started during lunch on Tuesday. They joined some of the best clubs in the region: DECA, Interact, FFA, FCA, and so many more.

Alexa Raney, has participated in this club throughout her high school career and is now representing Graves County by being the Region 1 DECA President. “I am excited to recruit people to the club that I have been the most dedicated to,” said Raney.

Joining clubs can be very affordable! Some clubs are free and others range from seven to fifteen dollars. For example, if in the Agricultural pathway, one is eligible for joining FFA and the dues are taken care of!

Sadie Smith, Graves County FFA President, said “I am most excited for AG Safety Day. This day is so special to myself and many others because it hasn’t happened in 4 years!”

Covid caused many events just like AG Safety Day to shut down. This year all clubs and rush are back to normal.

For additional information, find the club advisors or members to answer questions on membership and joining.

Turn in your dues if you have not already.
