Graves County Eagles won 38-12 against the McCracken County Mustangs after improving their record to 1-2 on the season.

The Eagles pulled away with the game in the second quarter by scoring 17 points and shutting the Mustangs out in the first half.

Cade Goatley led the way for the Eagles with three touchdowns while Quarterback Kaden Gregory had three passing touchdowns and one rushing touchdown.

“As a team we are finally coming together,” said Gregory. “We are a young team so we are learning a lot as we go and week three told that we are heading towards the right direction.”

Head Coach Nick Kemp said, “The teams performance was really good they won in all phases of the game and worked really hard.”

“We can improve by working harder in practice and staying focused throughout the week and not turning the ball over,” Kemp added.

The Eagle’s will play Bullitt East Sept. 9 @ 7 p.m. for Homecoming.
