On  April 20, FBLA members took a trip to Patti’s to practice and improve their etiquette skills.

The skills each student practiced can be used to help prepare them for important events like prom, business dinners, and fancy outings.

“I felt the trip gave the students new valuable skills that can be useful in the business world and will definitely come in handy during the upcoming prom season,” said FBLA sponsor Jenny Spann.

Students experienced a lot of different tips and skills such as listening, keeping the appropriate volume, and excusing themselves when necessary.

According to Senior, Eily Canter, “One of the most important things I learned was knowing when to excuse myself for things I never even thought about, like using a toothpick.”
