On Thursday, March 31st, FFA members went to Murray State to compete in FFA Speaking Day. Every member in our chapter got either a superior or excellent rating and Mikindri Moore got 2nd superior and qualified for state.

Luke Nesler, FFA chapter president placed 3rd superior in public speaking and services proficiency. When asked what FFA means to them, Luke Nesler and Ms. Sink said that FFA was a big part of their high school experience and it means a lot to them. “FFA helps me expand my knowledge and my future career.” said Luke. Ms. Sink said “This day is all about celebrating the hard work of students and the growth they have experienced in preparation for these contests.”

Mikindri Moore competed in impromptu speaking  junior parliamentary procedures, she was 2nd superior and qualified for state. She said, “FFA is so much more than just being there for your other members of FFA, but also being there for your community.”
