From the barrage of superhero movies, Logan stands out and breaks the barrier. It contains heartfelt scenes that will have the viewer turning into sobbing messes, action for the hotblooded ones, and some humor to offset the turmoil. It is the comic book movie of the year, despite it only being March of 2017.

Played by Hugh Jackman, Wolverine is the featured X-man of the film. Wolverine, while taking care of an ailing Professor Xavier and rooming with an albino freak (Caliban, played by Stephen Merchant), meets a woman claiming to be transporting a young mutant. He is skeptical to believe and in turn, reluctant to help. Throughout the movie, it is evident that the girl is the heir to his bloody legacy. They journey to find a potential, but thought to be nonexistent safe-haven for young mutants.

This movie is a must-watch for any superhero or X-men fan. Be sure to bring tissues because with an ending this intense, you’re going to need them.
